Sounds like your device may be muted. You can fix this manually (by turning off the mute setting) or you can download the latest version of our app which plays sound whether your device is muted or not. 

If you still cannot hear any sound when using the Nick Jr. App, your device may still be muted. If it has a side switch, flip it to the off position so that you do NOT see the switch’s orange line. This will unmute your device. Then make sure the volume is turned up. You should now be able to hear sound when using the Nick Jr. App.

On some iPads, you can go to Settings > General > Use Side Switch and select either Lock Rotation or Mute as the setting for your side switch. If Mute is selected, make sure your side switch is in the off position.

If your iPad does not have a side switch, you can swipe up from the bottom of your device's screen, and then press Mute in the Control Panel to unmute your device.
